Plans and coordinates the annual Presidents' Dinner celebration.
Communicates and trains local unit chairs regarding specific Texas PTA awards and the application process; recognizes well deserving individuals submitted by local units with GEM (Go the Extra Mile) awards; features campuses with innovative programs in "Campus in the Spotlight".
HEALTH & SAFETY
Disseminates information to the local units concerning issues that affect the Health and Safety of youth and promotes awareness throughout the CCCC Communities.
Photographs council events and activities; acts as custodian of all records and materials that pertain to the history of the council. Prepares an annual slideshow to be presented at the President's Dinner
FIELD SERVICE REP. (FSR)
As state committee members, Field Service Representatives ("FSRs") are appointed by the Texas PTA President to be the voice of Texas PTA with Council and Local PTAs.
Publishes the CCCC CommYOUnity Voice electronic newsletter. Communicates the goals and activities of CCCC through various social media channels.
Creates, distributes, and evaluates scholarship applications for CCCC of PTAs scholarship program for high school students affiliated with this Council.
Accurately records and presents the minutes of the Executive Board, Local Unit Presidents and Regular Membership meetings and manages correspondence.
Extends hospitality at CCCC functions and at a fall luncheon for the administration.
Advises the presiding officer on questions of parliamentary procedure when requested.
Handles all financial transactions for CCCC including the scholarship account; presents a financial report at all meetings.
1st VP LEADERSHIP
Coordinates training for local leaders of CCCC by organizing workshops in the Fall and Spring.
Plans the annual Founders' Day celebration.
2nd VP PARENT
Arranges programs and parent education events that meet the needs of the CCCC membership. Promotes parent education at the council level to provide awareness of the importance and need for parent education programs.
Appointed by the Superintendent to represent Clear Creek ISD at Council.
Responsible for promoting the National PTA Reflections contest, receiving entries, arranging for judging and forwarding the Council winners to Texas PTA by the deadline date, and providing a list of winners to be printed in the Council Newsletter. Also responsible for setting up the Reflections Reception for the CCCC Reflections contest participants.
3rd VP COMMUNICATIONS
Oversees the council communications including: website, social media, newsletter and publicity. Coordinates the communication of information for the Newsletter/Publicity Chair.
Presides at all CCCC meetings throughout the school year. Works with local units to advise, counsel, and train. Interfaces with CCISD, DISD, and other representatives of schools in the council area about a variety of PTA activities.
Alerts council delegates of impending meetings through email; tracks attendance at meetings; works with other committees to dispense information and invitations to events when requested; tabulates participation points; arranges for the "traveling tray" inscription.
Reports the highlights of the School Board of Trustees meetings at the CCCC Executive Board meetings and the CCCC General Membership meetings.
Assists local unit membership officers/chairmen in performing their duties; serves as chairman of the CCCC of PTAs CommYOUnity Membership Program and Honorary Life Membership committees.
Coordinates the annual Silent Auction held during the Founders Day Celebration. Proceeds from which benefit the CCCC of PTAs Scholarship Fund.
4th VP ADVOCACY
Provides information to all CCCC of PTAs members about legislation being proposed at the local, state and federal levels, along with details of any official PTA position pertaining to that legislation. Organizes and coordinates local unit PTA's participation in the bi-annual Rally Day in
